Experience

I have 6 years of experience teaching and tutoring Algebra and Geometry. Some of this experience was in a home school setting and some of it was in support of students attending an online school. I love math and I love teaching math, but I believe that my background in Developmental Psychology gives me a critical edge in helping students achieve success in these classes. I am able to determine a student's learning style and cater to that. I am also able to perceive psychological blocks that the student may have in place that are preventing him/her from being as successful as they can be and helping them to overcome these blocks. Finally, I believe I have a tremendous rapport with children of all ages.
